Steven Soderbergh, who announced that this would be his last job on cinema, presented us a film which is a mixture of drama, mystery and thriller. The film begins as a drama and then turns into a psychological thriller with lots of twists and surprises. Good choice of actors, excellent director and cooperation with Scott Z. Burns, who wrote the script, make this film a compact whole. Side effects may not be the best film of Steven Soderbergh but it is definitely one of the better.
