Stephen Volk is a British screenwriter, whose first produced work was Ken Russell's film Gothic in 1986. He created and wrote the script for the supernatural and the paranormal TV series Afterlife (2005-06). Famous films for which he wrote the screenplay are The Kiss (1988) and The Guardian (1990).
