Lars Gudmestad is a Norwegian writer for film and television. He was known for Norwegian public as presenter of Film editor NRK2. In 2004 Gudmestad nominated for the Amanda Award in the category: Best Screenplay for the film Buddy, but the award went to Elsa Kvamme for FIA and clowns. The film (Buddy) won general Amanda prices for Best Film and Best Actor (Anders Christiansen Baasmo).
