He is Roger Brown (Aksel Hennie). High is 1.68 and works as one of the greatest headhunters in Norway. Lives in a luxurious villa, driving an expensive car and has a beautiful wife Diana (Synnøve Macody Lund). In order to have all this, he needs only one thing: money, lots of money. His entire career and business success can be described in one word “reputation”. In order to maintain rich life of him and his wife, he secretly stealing works of art that have big value. That job doing in collaboration with his friend Ove Kjikerud (Eivind Sander), who is great lover of weapons. Ove works in a company that deals with home alarms and thus provides Roger unobstructed entry in the house of the victims. As time goes by, Roger finds that is increasingly difficult to maintain his luxurious life and because of that needs a target which has art of great value to satisfy his financial needs. One evening in wife’s gallery meets Clas Greve (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) who is former director of the company Hote and finds out that he owns Rubens’ painting. Is Clas Greve solution for his problems or is the beginning of something that even in the worst nightmare he could not imagined?
Conclusion:
Films from Norway are getting better every year, so that is and Headhunters justified expectations. The script is good and without major mistakes. Music great follows the plot of the film while the best scenes presented credible. Aksel Hennie is great played a role of Roger which are in this film finds in two roles, as a hunter and as a prey. Its safety in the first part of the film is based on reputation, which hides his insecurity primarily in the form of height and then wife, for which thinks that it is with him only because of his success and money. At least he thinks so. He loves what his wife is, and doesn’t want anything to change. Although she has a great desire to get pregnant, Roger doesn’t want anything which would be an obstacle in connection between two of them. Both Aksel Hennie and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are perfect cast for this movie.
The film is intelligent, intense and has some kind of humor. In addition to all possesses great dynamic and during whole course will keep the attention of viewer. Is anything else needed?
