Set in 1989 Tokyo, Earthquake Bird is a tense and moody psychological thriller from director Wash Westmoreland. Lucy Fly (Alicia Vikander), a quiet and mysterious foreigner haunted by her past, falls into a deep relationship with Teiji (Naoki Kobayashi), a charming but troubled photographer. Their world is shaken when Lily Bridges (Riley Keough), a cheerful and naive newcomer, enters their lives. When Lily suddenly disappears and is suspected dead, Lucy’s calm surface begins to crack, and dark secrets start to rise.
