Description:

Mickey Haller (Matthew McConaughey) is a shrewd lawyer from Los Angeles which instead of law office his cases receives and prepare in car – Lincoln. Its reputation is gained by protecting and freeing accused of serious crimes. He never ask whether the client is innocent or not but is trying by all means to reach his goals, often bypassing the law. During his career, he gained connections in all social classes.

The problems begins when he’s hired by a rich family to represent their son Louis Rouleta (Ryan Phillippe) who is seemingly unjustly accused of rape and attempted murder. Soon discovers that the case is intertwined with his old case and comes up with shocking findings. As a lawyer, he’s no right to betray his client and thus is drawn into a dirty game. After a while it becomes a suspect for the murder of his colleague…

The Lincoln Lawyer is a novel adaptation of Michael Connelly, who praised the film as excellent presentation of his bestseller.
